Inspection of Bakeries within the Municipality

The Hygiene and Sanitation Department of the Bamenda III Council went out for inspection of Bakeries located within its Municipality. It is noted nowadays that bread is one of the most consumed food item and so the Council is concerned about the health of its inhabitants. Over 15 functional bakeries were visited and it was observed that some of them had poor hygienic conditions. As a result, a meeting was convened in order to caution these bakeries on acceptable hygienic conditions in their production centers. It was resolved in the meeting that sanctions will be levied on them if any of them fails to improve on their hygiene.
