GERMAN ENGINEER VISITS BAMENDA

One of our German engineers arrived Bamenda yesterday and he was given a warm reception by the Mayor and a delegation from Bambui comprising of traditional authorities, officials of the Bambui water Authority and community representatives. During his stay he is going to carry on a feasibility study on the Bambui and Nkwen water scheme and to inspect the water pumps installed by a team of engineers who visited in January. This is going to mark a key step towards addressing chronic water shortages that have affected households in both areas. the Mayor in his speech stated the study will determine the technical, financial and environmental viability of a new water infrastructure scheme.
