Bamenda III Council Public Budget Policy Debate Session

The Bamenda III Council in its effort to promote transparency and accountability held a public Budget Policy Debate Session today the 22nd of November 2024. This session was graced with the presence of the Divisional Delegate for MINDDVEVEL, OPIC (Office of the public independent Conciliator). The chair persons of each quarter in the Municipality were also in attendance. In this session, projects which have been realised this year and ongoing projects were presented. These chair persons presented their worries, most especially in the areas of electricity, bridges linking quarters, ungraded roads etc. The Mayor addressed these worries and possible solutions were brought up to handle the worries of the population. It was a long session but was successful and all the participants validated the framing documents and performance tools presented by the Mayor for the 2025 financial year.
