Students on Holiday Job

Its another season for students in the Municipality. A workshop was organized today for these students at the Bamenda III Council. This workshop was facilitated by CAMNAFAW a non Governmental Organization whose main objective is to sensitize the public and young people on issues affecting them. The students were thought on sexual reproductive health and issues pertaining to them such as peer pressure, gender based violence and sexually transmitted diseases. These young people were informed on methods of transmission and were urged to carry out save practices such as abstinence and open dialogue with parents and elders. The workshop ended with free HIV screening for all participants.
