Launching of the process of the elaboration of the Council Development Plan

The Bamenda III Council in partnership with PNDP launches the process of the elaboration of the Council Development Plan. The Council Development Plan is the development bible of every Council. Giving the importance of the Council Development Plan, it cannot go without the participation of administrative authorities like, The Governor, SDO, DO, and the City Council. It also involves technical services like Ministry of Economy, Planning and Regional Development, Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Ministry of Public Works, Ministry of Domains and Land Affairs, CAMWATER, ENEO, CAMTEL, and the active participation of traditional authorities, the Fon, quarter heads and the local population. So far the process of the elaboration of the Council Development Plan has been lunched at the administrative level, the technical level and the local level. Hence the Local support organization is now actively carrying out the different diagnosis that will later be forwarded to the steering committee for validation.
