The Mayor of the Bamenda III Council, Fongu Cletus Tanwe has been distinguished for his continuous hard work at the helm of Bamenda III Municipalty. He was awarded a certificate of recognition by The voice during the 7th anniversary that took place in Yaounde. According to The voice, a biweekly English language newspaper in Cameroon, Mayor Fongu Cletus is the number one development mover who has silently transformed the Bamenda III Municipality with good roads, portable water etc. The Mayor talking stated the award just came to encourage the Council to continue meeting the needs of the local population of the Municipality.
